Rašeljka Krnić was born in Split, where she lived before moving to the Croatian capital city of Zagreb to study sociology. She graduated in 2004. During the next year she worked at The Open Society Foundations – NGO organization, which aims to help build vibrant and tolerant societies.
She attended post graduate study at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb where she earned her Ph.D. degree at The Department of Sociology. From 2006 Ms. Krnić worked at the Institute of Social Sciences Ivo Pilar. Her main research interests are Urban Sociology and Sociology of Culture and Arts.
She is the happiest when she travels and listens to jazz.
Ms. Krnic has recently published her first book.
