ONLINE PUBLISHING/TRAVEL INTERNSHIP

DS Publishing company seeks a talented self-motivated individual who wants to work in publishing PART TIME. Ideal Candidates will have the following skills:

  1. EXCELLENT ENGLISH  WRITING, SPELLING, GRAMMAR SKILLS
  2. BASIC BUSINESS  SKILLS AND FINESSE
  3. ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS: Make a list weekly, and follow through on the tasks on the list. Update the list. Keep track of e-mail addresses, phone numbers, passwords,  etc. Think ahead and include information upfront so that a task can be done   in one or two phone calls.
  4. PROBLEM SOLVING  SKILLS: Able to think and move beyond technical difficulties, computer problems, other people’s excuses, to get a task done efficiently.
  5. COMPUTER LITERATE: Know how write e-mails, use SKYPE, post articles, navigate through sites, search using Google, etc
  6. GRAPHIC ARTS & PRINTING KNOWLEGE A PLUS: PROOFREAD EVERYTHING going out.

FOLLOWING TOOLS ARE REQUIRED:

1.  WORKING COMPUTER
2. WORKING INTERNET
3. HEADSET

For   the qualified person, your compensation will be on the high end of R.D.   wages. This is strictly part time income, but it is something fun to do to provide extra income. MUST HAVE EXCELLENT ENGLISH READING WRITING AND   SPEAKING SKILLS.

TRAVEL/PUBLISHING COORDINATOR & PERSONAL ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES
 (approximately. 20 hours per week)

  1. Makes calls; TELEPHONE SKILLS & FOLLOW UP (PC and TC and PA)
  2. Creates Organization: SETS UP REVIEWS with Property Managers and Vacation Rental Owners (TC)
  3. Coordinates getting the check-in for Travel Writers (TC)
  4. Checks materials coming from Travel Writers to make sure they are complete. (PC)
  5. Takes care of administrative duties for the Publisher (PA)
  6. Sends out email blasts (PC)
  7. Calls property owners and welcome them to VRTG just as soon as a sale is made! (PC)
  8. Follow up on charge backs, and talk to the property owners about removing the complaint (PA)
  9. Posts edited articles to the website about 2-3 per month (PC)
  10. Makes commission payments every two weeks to sales persons (PA)
  11. Compiles a list of Passwords for Publisher (PA)
  12. Maintains a spreadsheet of Publishing projects updates (PC)
  13. Other publishing projects as assigned (PC)
  14. Other personal assistant projects as assigned (PA)
  15. Other travel coordinator projects as assigned. (TC)
  16. Meet twice a month with publisher for organizational and training time.

*TC: Publishing Coordinator duty, TC: Travel Coordinator Duty, PA: Personal Assistant Duty
