Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival
North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Masses of people line Main Street each year to get a glimpse of a magical parade that can only be experienced and not described. The parade begins promptly at 9:00 am, but parade goers rise earlier to patron Main Street establishments in search of warm delights to keep their appetites at bay during the parade. If a grand parade wasn’t enough, waiting at the end of Main Street is a festival you will not want to miss. Over 125 vendors will display their arts and crafts. Food vendors and Main Street businesses will have a variety of treats for everyone to enjoy. Two stages of continuous live entertainment will keep the Irish spirit in you all day. Bring the “wee” ones to enjoy the children’s area that is chocked full of rides and games for all ages.

Chocolate Classic

The 4th Annual Harbor Country Chocolate Classic includes ice-sculpting, sleigh rides and creative activities for all ages. Culinary venues will offer everything from chocolate-chip pancakes, hand-made truffles, and chocolate-covered bacon, to chocolate-enhanced wine and locally brewed specialty beer – with the key ingredient of chocolate of course! Chocolate Classic retailers entice shoppers with specials on chocolate-hued items including jewelry, glass, furniture and more. Visitors can also win special prizes by participating in various chocolate-themed guessing games!
Southwest Florida Wine & Food Fest
Fort Myers Beach, Florida

The two-day event begins with chef/vintner dinners in private homes throughout Southwest Florida on Feb. 21, and concludes with a Grand Tasting and Auction the following day, Feb. 22. The Grand Tasting features gastronomic delights from more than a dozen of the region’s finest chefs along with signature wines from California, Oregon and other popular European wine regions. Proceeds benefit the SWFL Children’s Charities, Inc.
